First time planing a trip. I am leave SLC,UT to Seattle Washington.. then off to skagway… So far second part not sure. If any tips about planning your first trip please write!

You can actually drive the whole way to Skagway via Canadian Hwys 1 and 97. I’ve driven from Salt Lake City into British Columbia before and it is a very pretty drive. Once you get past Vancouver, cities quickly become few and far between, so drive safely, fill up often, and keep an emergency kit in your car.

I’ve also been to Skagway. It’s a cute little touristy town, and the city seems to only wake up when the cruise ships come in. If you want to go to Glacier Bay or Juneau from here, then you will have to take a boat or ferry.
